{"id":1785,"date":"2013-08-26T07:06:50","date_gmt":"2013-08-26T00:06:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.paperlesspipeline.com\/blog\/?p=1785"},"modified":"2013-08-26T07:06:50","modified_gmt":"2013-08-26T00:06:50","slug":"automatic-relative-due-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.paperlesspipeline.com\/blog\/automatic-relative-due-dates","title":{"rendered":"Automatic relative due dates on tasks, better doc sorting, and more!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re excited to announce some brand-new features designed to make your admins\u2019 and agents\u2019 lives easier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relative Due Dates on Tasks<\/strong><br \/>\nYour checklist templates and tasks can now have due dates defined relative to acceptance date, close date, and transaction creation date. That means that in many cases, you won\u2019t have to manually add due dates to each task on a transaction.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/fast.wistia.net\/embed\/iframe\/a5da5i5m8a\" name=\"wistia_embed\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Add relative due dates to your checklist templates by going to \u201cAdmin\u201d and selecting \u201cChecklist Templates.\u201d Choose the template you want to edit, then click the calendar to select a trigger date and time frame relative to that date. Click \u201cSet Date Rule\u201d to save. These date rules will be applied every time the checklist is added to a transaction in the future.<\/p>\n<p>If a task\u2019s trigger date is based on a date that hasn\u2019t been added to the transaction yet (like an acceptance date), it will appear similar to a transaction with no due date. Later, when the trigger date is added to the transaction, due dates of tasks that rely on that date will be automatically calculated. If the trigger date is removed or changed, those dates will be automatically recalculated.<\/p>\n<p>When working on a transaction checklist, you\u2019ll have the ability to select an absolute or relative due date.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/fast.wistia.net\/embed\/iframe\/tqxbc0gk9v\" name=\"wistia_embed\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Buyer, Seller, Pricing etc.<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen creating or editing a transaction, the optional information section is now called \u201cBuyer, Seller, Pricing, etc.\u201d This is expanded by default, but you can minimize it and Pipeline will remember your preference for next time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auto-Fill Doc Names<\/strong><br \/>\nNow, when you upload documents to a transaction, Pipeline will remember your most recently used doc names.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Better Doc Sorting<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen working in a transaction, you can sort documents by name, comment, added on date, reviewed, and entered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improved Agent Info<\/strong><br \/>\nAnytime you see an agent icon in Pipeline, you can
